Hello and welcome to the website for FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Team #2655 "The Flying Platypi". We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization based in Colfax, North Carolina and made up of local high-school students and adult mentors. Since our founding in 2007, our mission has been to inspire young adults to pursue careers in science and technology through a fun, yet competitive, robot build season. In addition to building robots, we try to spread the excitement of science, technology, and engineering through year-round community outreach, mentoring, and charity events.
